Lindsay Lohan Shares Photo Weeks After Welcoming Baby Boy

Lindsay Lohan said she was "so proud" of her body for giving birth to her newborn son- born Luai, whom she shares with her husband Bader Shamas.

On Wednesdays Lindsay Lohan celebrates the joys of motherhood.

The 'Parent Trap' star has shared a sweet update on her post journey -partum, noting that she is grateful in her body to welcome her newborn son Luai whom she shares with her husband Bader Shammas.

“I am so proud of what this one body has been able to accomplish during these months "of pregnancy and now recovery," Lindsay captioned a mirror selfie in which she's wearing comfy clothes. "Having a baby is the greatest joy to the world! My OOTD lately has been my postpartum underwear from @fridamom."

As a nod to his 2004 film Mean Girls: Lindsay added, "Because I don't have just any normal mum but a postpartum mum."

About three weeks, Lindsay gave birth to Luai in Dubai, where she lives with her husband, her rep told E! News July 17: "The family is head over heels in love."

The same day, his mother, Dina Lohan, gushed about becoming Grandmother. 

"Overwhelmed with love and joy!" Dina told People in an interview published July 17. "My flight is today, I'm really looking forward to it. It arrived two days early."

The actress's brother , Dakota Lohan, also took a look back at his life as the actress' new uncle, sharing photos from his trip to Dubai to visit Lindsay's family. On July 21, he wrote on Instagram, “Some recent moments from Dubai. My best friends had a baby and it's perfect. It's ok, I love you, enjoy your weekend.”

And it's not just Lindsay's real family who wish her well Jamie Lee Curtis, who played Lindsay's on-screen mother in Freaky Friday , also marked the occasion with a lovely tribute.

"My on-screen daughter just walked into a movie grandma," wrote the Oscar-winning actress on Instagram on July 17. "Blessings to Lindsay and Bader on the birth of Luai!"
