First, the good news. There was plenty of diversity on May 2021 covers. And we’re not just talking race. We also saw size and age representation.
The bad news? There wasn’t much spring and summer fashion inspiration. (Disappointing since that’s what we want out of our glossies.) In fact, some of the styling was quite questionable. But we were treated to some striking beauty looks. Like Thandiwe Newton’s purple shadow on British Vogue. Edie Campbell’s colorful eye makeup and glossy lips on Vogue Korea go surprisingly well together.
