No matter how tired the world is, it's always special for artists to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. People from all over the world come to meet their favorite artists' stars. It's always a sign that you've reached a certain level in the industry. Sometimes it takes a little longer for artists of color to receive these accolades. That's why we celebrate these special moments by recognizing artists who have recently appeared on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Ludacris
Rapper and actor Chris "Ludacris" Bridges received his star on May 18, where he was honored by Queen Latifah, LL Cool J and "Fast X". With Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster and Tyrese Gibson. Also a tribute to Cody Walker, brother of the late Paul Walker.
"Getting a star is a statement," said Ludacris in his speech . “But be clear about this message: the even more important message for me is that we are all connected. And I am the culmination of the people who came before me today, who believed in me and encouraged me to be inspired. I am your reflection. I am nothing without you. Thank you."
Blake Shelton
Blake Shelton received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday, May 12.
The country singer has been supported by his mother, Dorothy Shelton, his wife, Gwen Stefani, and their three children, as well as his "The Voice" family, including Adam Levine and Carson Daly.
Shelton gave Stefani some nice praise during his acceptance speech, telling the audience, "I stopped crossing things off my life's greatest hits list when I married Gwen, so this it's just the icing on the cake.
Carrie Fisher

Michael B. Jordan

The a cappella singing group Penatonix received a star on February 21, with group members Scott Hoying, Kevin Olusola, Kirstin Maldonado, Matt Sallee and Mitch Grassi posing with their star. During the ceremony, the group received tributes from singer-songwriters Rachel Platten.
Ice-T
Rapper and actor Ice-T was joined by wife Coco Austin and daughter Chanel when he received his star on the sidewalk of Hollywood Fame on February 17. At the ceremony, he was honored by Public Enemy's Chuck D, along with Law & Order: SVU co-star Mariska Hargitay and series creator Dick Wolf.
