They were all over the Spring 2020 runways with designers offering the more intimate variety along with slip dresses designed for daylight. Gucci sent several sexy versions down its moving walkway. Relatively new brand Kwaidan Editions supplied a neon green mini meant for maximum comfort and maximum impact.

Rocking a sexy slip dress on the runway is one thing, but sporting one IRL takes some finesse. Don’t go too clingy (size up if you have to) because you don’t want to reveal too much. The key over the summer is to not over style the look. Try working in a set of neutral sandals or basic black combat boots — just go easy on the jewelry. Once fall rolls around, you can layer a fine-knit turtleneck or long-sleeve crew neck underneath for extra insulation making them more than one-season wonders. Warning: These are not the kind of slips you position under sheer dresses to retain some level of modesty. They’re much too fancy.
